The future of disaster prevention technology was showcased in an interactive video exhibit.
Japan, a country with a high risk of natural disasters, has always placed a significant emphasis on disaster prevention. Despite ongoing advancements, challenges have remained in the realm of disaster prevention. However, we were confident that future technological advancements could provide effective solutions to these challenges. At SEIRYO ELECTRIC, we brought together our extensive technologies and expertise in disaster prevention and mitigation to present innovative solutions that we believe will contribute to a safe, secure, and comfortable society.
During the exhibition period (May 13–19, 2025), we welcomed a diverse audience of approximately 2,500 people—regardless of gender, age, nationality, or disability—who experienced our vision of future disaster preparedness.
By bringing together the disaster prevention and mitigation technologies we have cultivated over the years, we showcased what we envision disaster preparedness to look like 10 years from now. Through an immersive first-person video depicting everything from the occurrence of an earthquake to evacuation actions, visitors were given the opportunity to reflect deeply on the importance of disaster preparedness.
Our company experienced significant growth after taking charge of maintaining and operating wireless communication systems at the 1970 Osaka Expo. With Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai as a new milestone, we aim for further progress and will continue to contribute to building a future society as a company engaged in disaster prevention.

As part of the Future Life Expo Showcase (FLE) at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, we presented our project within the Future Society Showcase Program. The FLE brought together a wide variety of “questions” and “proposals” on future living—spanning food, culture, healthcare, and more—from corporations, educational institutions, and municipalities. It became a place for co-creation, where participants engaged in dialogue and worked together to envision and shape the society of the future.
